Kevin Hart Teaches Will Ferrell How to GET HARD In New Movie

January 19th, 2015

Over the past few years, there have been many films featuring great duos that have great chemistry on screen. Some examples that instantly come to mind are Owen Wilson & Vince Vaughn (Wedding Crashers), Sandra Bullock & Melissa McCarthy (The Heat), and Martin Lawrence & Will Smith (Bad Boys). In 2015, a new movie will feature another great duo and it is Get Hard, which stars Kevin Hart (Ride Along) & Will Ferrell (Elf). Directed by Etan Cohen (Men In Black 3), millionaire James King (Ferrell) is nailed for fraud and bound for San Quentin so he turns to Darnell Lewis (Hart) to prep him to go behind bars. Hitting theaters on March 27th, Get Hard also stars T.I. (ATL), Alison Brie (Scream 4), Gary Owen (Think Like A Man Too), Edwina Findley Dickerson (If Loving You Is Wrong), Dan Bakkedahl (Veep), and Paul Ben-Victor (Grudge Match). A new trailer for Get Hard was released and it only proves that Hart & Ferrell have great on screen chemistry, as well as the ability to make the audience laugh so hard their stomach hurts.

It’s no secret that Hart is extremely popular these days and Get Hard will only enhance his popularity. From Think Like A Man to Ride Along, it seems as though Hart is going to continue taking Hollywood by storm one movie at a time. Ever since I first saw him in 1998’s A Night at the Roxbury, I have been a huge fan of Ferrell’s. His later performances in 2003’s Old School and 2004’s Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy only solidified my fandom for him.

I am looking forward to seeing Dickerson since I’m a fan of Tyler Perry’s If Loving You Is Wrong, which is on OWN, and she gives an exceptional performance in the series so I expect the same in Get Hard. Also, while he is a magnificent rapper, T.I. has some great acting chops and I know he’s going to do great in this film. All in all, Get Hard looks like a definite must see for anyone desiring some good laughs. You can view the trailer to Get Hard below and be sure to catch the film when it hits theaters on March 27th.
