In 2015, there are going to be a slew of upcoming films that most people are anticipating to see, such as Star Wars: Episode VII-The Force Awakens, Terminator: Genisys, and Avengers: Age of Ultron. In addition to these, another film that most people are anxiously waiting for is Furious 7. Released on April 3rd, the seventh installment in The Fast & the Furious franchise picks up after the ending of Fast & Furious 6. After defeating Owen Shaw and his crew, Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel, xXx), Brian O’Conner (Paul Walker, Takers) and the rest of the crew are able to return to the United States and live the normal life again as they had wanted, but Owen’s older brother, Ian Shaw (Jason Statham, The Transporter), is after Dominic, seeking revenge for the death of his brother, putting the entire crew in danger once more. After learning of Han’s death, the crew sets out to find the man who killed one of their own, before he finds them first.

Directed by James Wan(Insidious), the film also stars Dwayne Johnson (Hercules), Michelle Rodriguez (Avatar), Jordana Brewster (The Faculty), Tyrese Gibson (Baby Boy), Christopher “Ludacris” Bridges (New Year’s Eve), Kurt Russell (The Thing), Lucas Black (Friday Night Lights), Elsa Pataky (Snakes on a Plane), Djimon Hounsou (Blood Diamond), Nathalie Emmanuel (Game of Thrones), and Ronda Rousey (The Expendables 3). A trailer for Furious 7 was recently released and it looks amazing.

Unfortunately, as much as I am excited to see Furious 7, the excitement is also bittersweet since this will be the last film in Walker’s career after his unfortunate death. But as much as it will be sad, I think his last performance in Furious 7 will strongly seal his legacy as a top notch actor. I’m really anxious to see how the new cast members in the franchise (Emmanuel, Rousey, & Hounsou) will do in their respective roles with the rest of the returning cast. From the trailer, it seems that Emmanuel’s character will join Diel, Walker, Johnson, Rodriguez, Gibson, and Bridges in their pursuit of Shaw.

Check out the trailer to Furious 7 below and be sure to see the film when it’s released to theaters on April 3rd.
